As I already posted, in my opinion message highlights should be revised. Look at these examples:
As you can see, among pinned messages a solved one can hardly be detected by the small checkmark (which controintuitively is on the left while user focus is driven to the right by the pin highlights)
As a comparison, non-pinned messages show a very evident solved highlight:
As a last point, I would prefer a more evident separation between pinned and regular messages (a few pixels separation could be enough)

With today's update this is how a board with pinned threads looks like:
I can't say I love it, but at least you know immediately which discussion has been pinned and which one not. Unfortunately, discriminating a pinned&solved threads among others is still not so easy...
Strangely, pinned discussions still appear in the dynamic list if recently updated
