NI-FBUS 3.2.3 to 4.0 configurator upgrade problem

I'm running on XP SP2, the license manager says "Status: Activated upon next launch of the application or the NI Activation Wizard"

But I get the following windows error every time I attempt to start the configurator: "The nstallatlon of ttis pacatIon may be conupt. Use Add oi Remove Progams n the windows Conmol Panel tx attempt to rep this program."

I have a PCMCIA-FBUS(Series 2)  setup with a driver.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling no luck, any suggestions?

Please use attached tool to completely uninstall the existing NI-FBUS software. Here are the steps.

- Launch the program included in the attachment

- Select all NI-FBUS components. Click Uninstall

- Restart the system after all NI-FBUS components are removed

- Install Configurator 4.0 again. Before installation, make sure that PCMCIA-FBUS card are plugged out

If there is any other problem, please send email to fieldbus.support@ni.com

Re: NI-FBUS 3.2.3 to 4.0 configurator upgrade problem

I tried the about procedure but I got a error 3010 when uninstalling NI-FBUS driver and software 4.0. The msiblast.exe showed them gone but there was still no success in getting the V4.0 configurator to start after a successful installation. Still same error above "The installatlon of this package may be conupt. Use Add or Remove Progams in the windows Control Panel to attempt to repair this program.".

I'll send an email to fieldbus.support@ni.com as per your suggestion.

What does error 3010 mean during the uninstall process?
