Overview

This is a basic example that demonstrates how to perform a frequency shift of IQ data for generation on the 5450 and 5451.  It is a modified version of the shipping example Fgen Basic Arb Waveform.vi.

 

 

Description

This VI makes use of the 545x OSP capabilities to digitally upconvert your data by a given frequency offset.

 

 

Requirements

Software

LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)

NI-FGEN

 

Hardware

NI PXIe-5450 or PXIe-5451

 

 

Steps to Implement Code

  1. Select proper Resource Name for your 545x hardware on Front Panel.
  2. Set parameters on Front Panel, such as Frequency Shift, IQ Rate, Gain, and DC Offset.
  3. Run the VI.
