NI 9233 compatible microphone

Hi All

I need to start measuring sound with a ni 9233 board tha we have and use  it for accelerometers.

For learning I would start with a cheaper microphone.

Can somebody  tell me if this are compatible with ni9233

or

Or please suggest a microphone for about 100$ or less.

Best regards

You would need a preamp with phantom power injection for these mics.  If you know how to solder look into the INA217 datasheet and google '5$ mic preamp'

I have a ECM8000 at home and my 5$ preamp (well, 20$ including housing and batteries 😉  5x9V for 45V )  runs nice , however I run it into my soundcard ...

PCB offer IEPE mics IIRR, but not for <100$ 😄

Hi Henrik

Thanks for your help.

In the Behringer site has this

http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MIC200.aspx

and this

http://www.behringer.com/assets/PP400_P0492_S_EN.pdf

Wich this I must use?

This pre-amp is better thant the Phantom PH-1 ?

This is ok for pre-amp the Behringer microphone? But the out put of the first has 3 pins and Ni9233 has a BNC input.

Can you help me how to connect it?

Sorry for I suppose basic questions, but as you know I am a noise begginer.

My experience (there is a very expensive equipement B&K in market) is to apply the microphone near the car wheel and mesure the noise tire/road.

I would learn with cheaper equipement, understand the outputs and after that maybe we can buy a better equipement.

Best regards
