Is NI 9234 drop-in compatible with NI 9233?

I have a LabVIEW v8.5 application that utilizes a NI 9233 module to input signals from accelerometers. This module has IEPE excitation and AC coupling always enabled.

There is a new module, NI 9234,  that is being pushed as a replacement for the NI 9233. It can have IEPE excitation enabled or disabled, it can have AC coupling or DC coupling; these items are now software selectable.

What is the default setting for IEPE excitation and AC coupling for the NI 9234? Is it drop-in compatible with the NI 9233, vis-a-vis my LabVIEW application, or will it require the application to be modified to initialize the module to IEPE enabled, AC coupled?

lgk,

As you can see here the 9234 is Default AC Coupled.  For applicable tasks like Accelerometers IEPE is by default enabled at 2mA.  It should be pretty much a drop in obviously it will have to be selected by the program oter than that it shouldn't requrire to much else.
