How do I realize a virtual oscilloscope with Labview 2009?

Hi,

 

I have to realize an Oscilloscope function for a data acquisition program. It must emulate all the function of a real oscilloscope and it should be also able to generate simple signal like voltage steps and sinusoidal wave.

The VI has already been realized and it generate the needed waveform correctly. But I still have a huge problem. I don't know how to vary the time scale. I'd like to add a knob or a dial control that the user could use to change the time scale, while he is acquiring the data.

I don't know if I'm wrinting this correctly, because I'm Italian and I am not used to writing this kind of things in English

Hi Lando,

you could try with a property node relating to the graph of interest. In particular choosing x (y) scale>range>all elements, you could programmatically specify the starting, ending points and the increments of your graph.
