FRF Measurement with Controlled Input Channel

Dear all,

I am currently trying to measure some FRF of simple beams on a shaker using a stepped sine. I would like to measure the force or displacement of the input point and the displacement of another point as response.

I have already a code that permits to do this by applying a constant voltage over the whole range. I would like however to have a constant input (displacement or force) of the shaker.

From my understanding, I would need to create a closed-loop that adapts the voltage so that I obtain the desired (and previously fixed) stimulus value for each of the frequencies.

Would a similar code already exist? Otherwise, what would be your advice to approach this problem?

I would like to thank you in advance for time.

The Sound and Vibration Toolkit is a LabVIEW addon that supports numerous vibration measurements, including stimulus-response testing with a discrete sweep. Check out the example: <LabVIEW>\examples\Sound and Vibration\Swept Sine\Frequency Response with Swept Sine (DAQmx).vi
