NI PCI-6528 , NI PCI-6229 - intervalzero RTX - NO IRQ is allocated

Hi,

We are using NI PCI-6528 , NI PCI-6229  under interval zero RTX 32 bit on win 7.

For both cards, we are using RTX driver that doesn't support interrupts and we use Polling.

Is it ok that no specific IRQ is allocated to any of these two cards?

Windows will not allocated IRQ since these cards are defined as RTX cards.

In RTX configuration we specifically defined that RTX will not allocated IRQ since there is no free IRQ in the system.

Please help with this issue.

As long as your application's requirements do not depend on interrupts for its behavior or performance, there won't be a problem.

We are working with NI PCI 6528 with interval zero RTX2016 working on windows 7 , 32 bit.

Currently we are reading the I/O card frequently.

We can allocate an IRQ in exclusive mode for NI PCI-6528.

We are wondering if you can guide us where we can find the driver's code that implements an interrupt whenever there is a change in the discreet value.
