I want to know if it is possible to use a NI-PXIe 1075 controller using a Linux running in a Embedded controller or an external host using PXIe link.
Why the NI-PXIe1075 uses two different PCIes witches (PEX8525 & PEX8533)?
Thank you

Hi Mariano,
I think it does not depend so much on the chassis. Here you can see a list of tested controllers under Linux:

As far as MXI is concerned, you can read the following lines:
"You should be able to use NI MXI products with Linux. PXI is composed of PCI components, which are native to each Operating Systems. Therefore, PCI to PCI bridges should be recognized by the system without any additional drivers installed.
This is supported for only specific Linux distributions. For what the current set of distributions are, reference http://www.ni.com/linux/pxi.htm.
Note: PXI Platform Services is NOT installed with VISA, DAQ or any other driver for Linux.
All that is required to get this setup working with Linux, is the specific Linux driver for the hardware that is going to be used. Each driver should install any
necessary support.
NI DAQ in particular has shown trigger routing and clock utilities available in PXI, which is installed with the DAQ driver for Linux."

Muchas gracias.
