Nistc2k.dll and BlueScreen of Death (BSOD)

Hey Hi Hello everybody, I have a problem with NI PXI-67-23 card , the issue is that when i'm using it , the PC that control it is getting randomly "BlueScreen Of Death" crashes . When I restart the PC and search about the error code in a "BlueScreen Viewer" this indicate that the PC stops when running file "Nistc2k.dll" which is a National Instruments File contained in NIDAQmx product.

I,ve tried to fix the problem reinstalling software NIDAQmx but it still persist.

Thanks for your time, I very apreciate your help.

Hi Hec77,

I have some questions for you....

Which operating system and version of LabVIEW are we using?

When does the blue screen appear? At what point in your application does this occur? What is your application doing?

Did this application work correctly previously? If so, what changes took place between when it was working and not working?

What version of DAQmx are you using? As I look into other issues with similar problems, it seems it is because of a corrupt DAQmx driver. Upgrade to the latest DAQmx driver would be a possible solution. Be sure to first remove your previous version of DAQmx. Then do a force reinstall of the latest DAQmx. This will ensure that everything gets installed properly and overwrites any files that may have become corrupted.

This resource basically discusses how it is important to uninstall previous versions of DAQmx before installing new versions.

Let me know once you do this and if you have any further questions. Ideally and in the past, a force reinstall of DAQmx resolves this issue so hopefully another blue screen does not occur.

Here is the link for downloading the latest version fo DAQmx 14.1, only be sure that this version is supported for your OS and NI Application Development Environment versions.
