I am using NI PXI DMM 4065/4071/4072 with MXI controller to perform DC current measurement on my device.
I'm very sure that PXI DMM are not initialized when PC started because the device couldn't be enabled
unless I open DMM front panel and cofigure to DC current.
Is there any way to auto initialize PXI DMM when I start computer, just like the way stand-alone instruments do??
Thanks in advance.

Hi Adam,
I believe that you could do this by building a VI to configure your DMM, and then placing the VI (selected to run when open or configured as an executable) in the Startup directory (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup). Hope that helps!

Hi aNItaB,
I wonder if I need to wait until OS loading NI instrument driver and then run the VI in the Startup.

Adam -
I don't think you should need to wait for the driver to load (this should be done for you, behind the scenes), but if you do need to delay for some reason you could do that by adding a wait step before your initialization vi:
