sbrio 5V tolerant

We're migrating from the 9642 to the 9626.  Can anyone tell me what component(s) are being used on the 9642 to protect the FPGA lines and make it 5V tolerant?  I would like to include these on my 9626 daughter board.  Thanks.

Hi altasHW,

From the sbRIO-9642 user manual, page 24. Simplistically, U1 provides the 5V voltage translation and the combination D1, D2 and R1 provide ESD and overvoltage protection to roughly 20V.  The manual has more detail on the level of support/specification of these lines.

Hope this helps.
