not sure my sensor is working

Omega's manuals often leave a lot to be desired.

 

However, looking at page 7 of the document you posted where it shows the MAG-PB circuit, clearly the output signal is NOT compatible with a digital I/O line or with a counter input. It is not compatiible with an analog input on the USB-6229. The input range on the USB-6229 is +/-10 V while the output voltage from the sensor is 0.1 V to 11 V when running on a 12 V power supply.

 

If you have connected this sensor to a digital or counter input, you may have damaged the DAQ device. You probably did not damage an analog input, although the voltage is outside the nominal input range.

 

You need a signal conditioning circuit between the sensor and the DAQ device.  The design of the circuit will depend on the nature of the measurements you want ot make and which type of input you will be using.
