Writing and reading data using the DAQAssist and a Compaq Rio

I am writing and reading data using the DAQAssist and a Compaq Rio.  I need to compare the data written to the data being read.  I am having trouble creating a comparasion due to the delay in the data being read.  Any ideas on how to verify the data going in is the same as the data coming out?

What type of measurements are you reading (voltage, current, strain, temperature, etc.)? What are you writing (data to device, results to file, etc.)? Are you programming in LabVIEW or a text based language (LabVIEW, C, C#/VB .NET, etc.)? Are you receiving unexpected results? UItimately, it might be easier to help if you could provide more details about the system and the situation.
