We have just upgraded to a newer PC running Windows 7 64-bit.
The old PC was Windows 2000.
The DAQ card NI PCI-6071E is detected in N(-MAX.
There are no errors in Device Manager.
NI-DAQmx 14.2 is installed.
The SCXI-1001 chassis is not detected in NI-MAX.
What else do I need to do?

Hello,
You just need to add the SCXI chassis manually. Please refer to Step 11 from the link below.

I was under the impression that NI-MAX should detect it automatically.
But I did follow the directions to add the SCXI chassis manually.
Yet there is a redX next to the icon and none of the modules are detected.

Just wanted to add that not only does the SCXI-1001 chassis have to be added manually so does its modules.
The Auto-Detect button did not work.

Hello,
Were you able to properly add the modules to MAX and take some measurements? if not, here are some troubleshooting steps.

I was able to add the modules with no errors.
Have not tried running the LabVIEW program yet.
