PXIe support with respest to digital I/O

Hello sunnykillz,

Okay, thanks for that information. What is your FlexRIO device?

BPSK, okay, digital format yes.

The 5791 has a maximum toggle frequency of 6.6 MHz for the PFI/DO lines. This means it could change states from high to low at a max rate of 6.6 MHz. Are you exceeding this rate? If you are doing 512 kbps, you wouldn't be.

Can you please try uploading the .jpg again? It didn't seem to upload. Thanks.

Best regards,

Are you wanting to share the sample clock (130 MHz) or reference clock (10 MHz)? Please see pages 21 and 28 of the specifications manual for available sample clocks you can import into CLK IN on the front panel of the 5791.. http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373845d.pdf

You will not be able to have a clock of 512KHz. 512 S/s is just the sampling rate, derived from the sample clock (130 MHz).

Those waveforms you sent in the image aren't any different as far as 'pulses' go, they are just at different frequencies.

You will be able to output your data on any DIO or PFI line. The Sample clock that you output on CLK OUT will be synced with the samples.
