Hi
I have a cRio-9024 and a 9114 Chasssis (FPGA).
In a older (LV8.2) cRio application we did PWM regulation programmed on FPGA with a NI-9477 DO module.
I tried now to do this with scan engine but I couldn't find the way to get a PWM output to the 9477.
Is that just possible with certain Modules?

Hi,
there's an example in LabVIEW about 'PWM - Scan mode'.
To load an example, click on Help>Find Examples... Then a window opens and you can click on Search

Thanks Maximilian
I found this example before. It's done with a NI-9474 Module.
If you right click the Module in the project you can choose in the Properties "Module Configuration" and "Specialty Digital Configuration". There you can configure PWM.
But if I do so with my NI-9477 Module there is only " Module Configuration" and no "Specialty Digital Configuration".
Therefore my guess, for some reason it is not possible with the Module NI-9477.

Hi Hannes,
sorry I haven't seen that.
I researched about which C series modules support specialty digital functions in Scan Mode and I found the following link:
What C Series Modules Support Specialty Digital Functions in Scan Mode

It's quite up to date, so I think you're right that it's not possible to use the NI 9477.

Hi Maximilian
Thank you for help.
Strange that the DO-Module 9477 is not even in the list.
Seems you are right - the 9477 is not configurable with specialty digital functions like PWM.
To bad, it's the only one with 32 channels.
Best regards
