Ni-DAQ driver with 64 bit OS?

You are rigth, NI DAQ 7.5 is the latest traditional DAQ driver, and the MAX version is 4.3 to NI DAQ 7.5.

Yes, the DIO-96 card is working on the old machine (XP).

And, yes, on the old machine (XP) I can see de DIO-96 device on the windows device manager, but not on the new machine (WIN 7)

The pci dio-96 IS listed as supported by DAQmx - http://download.ni.com/support/softlib//multifunction_daq/nidaqmx/15.0.1/readme.html#devSupport. Is the readme incorrect? You obviously can't use traditional daq on a 64-bit os.
