NI-DAQmx 8.0.2 driver is available for linux systems...

Is there also an application software available for read/write of the PCI-6518 pins ?

Preferably as GUI or something else ?

Hi;

 

I am not sure I understand what you mean. That description sound like the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) but unfortunately that application is not supported on Linux, it is only for Windows.
