NI 9402 Connectivity

Hello,

I currently have a NI cDAQ 9178 chassis with a NI 9402 I/O module. I'm trying to connect the module to a variable frequency drive (VFD) to remotely start a pump. However, the pump VFD only has screw terminal connectivity (no BNC port). How do I remedy this connectivity issue? Is a digital-to-analog converter needed to or will a BNC to two-wire like this https://www.powell.com/item/Pomona-Electronics-4969-GSorAZ/29236?gclid=COeC-NL3r9ACFUk6gQodPcQLcA work?

Thank you!

Hi Willago,

As long as your VFD remote signals are of the digital input type, then all you will need is a "BNC to wire leads" cable, such as the one you linked.
