Digital Channels do not appear as an option for physical channels

Hello,

I want to create an external timing source, so I used the "create timing source" vi as a "digital edge counter". This means that I have to specify a channel for the input external clock. However, the physical channel constant lists only analog channels and not all the channels.

Do you know how to make the digital channels appear?

Thanks

Hello Evangelos,

Thanks for posting at NI forums! If you right click on the terminal and select I/O Name Filtering, and you check those options, are you able to see those terminals? If not, what device are you trying to use for that task?

Best Regards,

Yep, or right-click and "Create Constant" off the terminal and the appropriate filter should be applied...
