Can't locate driver error 10240 - NIDAQmx 9.7 for Card PCI 6527

Hello dear partners,

I'm using NI DAQmx 9.7 in a machine hosting a Windows 7, but always when I tried to run the application I got this error.:

CAN'T LOCATE THE DRIVER ERROR 10240

I can see that it happens when I tried to call this function.: DIG_Out_Line(short device,
                               short port,
                               short line,
                               short lineState)
from dataacq.h file

Previously I was using the driver NI DAQ 7.4.4 (Legacy) in a machine hosting a Windows XP, but I believe it doesn't work very well on Windows 7 even running in compability mode.

Does you have any idea why could I'm facing this problem ?

Best Regards

Josias Junior

Is not necessary make this. Your Windowns and your PCI are compatible with NI-DAQmx 9.7 but, maybe you installed you LabWindowns on default module and forgot of install something.

1º Step - Run a EXAMPLE and see that everything will work or if the same problem is display for you.

2ª Step - With the same problem appear send me your MAX Report.

    - Open MAX

    - Click on "File"

    - "Create a Report"

    - Send to the file to Technical Support
