Can i trigger the DOs at different port at the same time?

I use the board name PCI-DIO_96. The board has 11 ports. Because of some reason, i have to trigger several DOs at the same time, but these DOs are at different ports.

For example, the 1st line is @ port0/line1, the 2nd line is @ port4/line3 ......

But after test, i found the C# program cannot trigger all the DOs...???

I wonder if it's better to trigger the DOs at the same port than trigger DOs at different port at the same time?

Thanks!

Kevin

Hello Kevin,

PCI DIO 96 boards timing is software based. Meaning you will get a difference of 1 to a couple of ms between triggers. This is because is OS/SW dependant. It would not matter if you do it on same port or different ports. If you are interested in précised triggering, you might need to look into using hardware time boards.

Good luck with you project.
