Just want to know we can use pxi 6541 to generate a 5V output (Both static and dynamic).
It looks that we can only have 1.8 V, 2.5 V and 3.3 V. But in the NI MAX control panel, we have the option to do 5V logic.
Any help will be appreciated.

Somehow i am not be able to get 5V even if i set it to 5. It only goes to 3.3V. I am writing a software to control this device, unfortunately it is not working. So i tried it on NI MAX, and same thing, not be able to get 5 V output.

Hi,
The 6541 is a 5V TTL compliant board. What this means is that the voltages it generates and it uses for comparisons are compatible with 5V TTL logic parts. However, the 6541 does not actually generate 5V digital signals. If you look at the table in the specifications that defines the output voltages, you'll notice that for the 5V TTL the voltage level is 3.3.
I hope this helps clarify what you are seeing.
