Hi, I'm new to programming. Anyway I programmed pci6503 to output a high for 0.5ms and then a low for 0.5ms(using timing delays). In other words I'm trying to output a 1khz digital pulse. I also connect a led to the dio port and verified if the right dio has been activated. The lighting sequence is correct. But when I connect a 1 mohm probe across the led, I did not see a pulse train. Rather, I just see a transient on the oscilloscope. Any idea why is this so? Do I have to use handshaking to produce pulse trains? Thanks.
