6289 Digital output circuit diagram

Solved!

Hi,

I was unable to find a schematic for the digital I/O pins of my PXI6289 daq card.  I want to know the pull-up/pull-down components.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hello Jeff,

I believe what you are looking for is on page 8 of these specifications.

Pull-down resistor............................50 kΩ typical,
                                                      20 kΩ minimum

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

I found that but is the output pulled low by an open collector? Is there any internal pullup resistor for outputing a "High"? Is there any input capacitance component?  Do you have a graphic representation of the DIO circuitry?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hello Jeff,

I do have the schematic, but that cannot be shared. From what I found, there is just the internal Pull-down the resistors. There are no capacitors, but there is always some amount of internal capacitance. What amount that may be? I do not know.

Hi,

Can you tell me if it is a totem-pole style output?  Able to source and sink current?

Read the specs.  It clearly says Sourcing and Sinking.  It seems that this is standard with NI DIO.
