Single Channel Excel Export

I want to write a VBScript that will export only selected channels to an Excel file, similar to what is done manually with the Excel Export Wizard.  Is there a function (possibly using the EXCELExpChn variable) that will allow me to do this?  I can not use a saved configuration file, because the total number of data channels and the channels to be exported will be variable.
