Run Script Periocically or on event

Hello,

I'd like to pocess new data with a DIAdem script whenever it arrives in a certain folder. I was wondering if there is an elegant way of doing this please. For example, running a script periodically or attaching a script to an OnChange type event.

I suppose I could do it by assigning the script as a startup script and periodically starting DIAdem from Windows. Or I could permanantly run a script that monitors the state of a folder but that would tie up DIAde. If I could launch a script as a parallel process in DIAdem that could be running all the time and report back when there is something to do.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Martin

Hi Martin,

I'd like to chat with you directly about this use case, which I've covered in a couple of different ways before.  Please email me directly at brad.turpin@ni.com
