Launch DIAdem instance from data plugin

Is it possible to launch another instance of DIAdem from inside a data plugin? Basically, I would like one instance of DIAdem to monitor data files returned by DataFinder and have a new instance of DIAdem process the files. The file name needs to be passed to the new instance.

That sounds like asking for problems. Launching DIAdem from a DataPlugin will likely get out of control when a lot new files get indexed by Datafinder. What you can do so is have on DIAdem check for new files periodically and then have that DIAdem start "workers" to process the file
