Fixed number of RMS

I have a data set of around 870400 values and they add up to a total of 34 seconds of data. That is around 25,600 values per second of data.

Is there a way to get just 34 RMS values from the data? I need one RMS value for every second. I tired entering 34 into the interval column when running FFT but it gives me 25600 values.

Hi hmurya,

You will first need to take the RMS of all of your data using the 'Calculate RMS' function. You can then take subsets of your data to compute the average of those new chunks of 25,600, which will effectively average your new RMS data into bins of 34.
