Diadem 2014 --> 2011 (DOWNGRADE)

Hello,

we bought DIADEM 2014 (1xBASE/2xAdvanced) and our customer is using DIADEM 2011.

As a result of this, we got different problems and like to downgrade our DIADEM version.

Is this possible? How do I get the old version and is my license also working?

Hello Alex,

You may use an older version with your new purchase (you may either use 2014 or any previous version of DIAdem, but not both at the same time, please check the software license agreement).

Older versions of NI software can be found here:

http://www.ni.com/downloads/

Just enter the name and version of the software you wish to download, i.e. "DIAdem 2011" in the search field at the URL above and pick the version you wish to download, then install.

The license file you received with your 2014 release should work with previous versions of DIAdem.

According to the NI license agreement found here: http://www.ni.com/legal/license/ you may install a prior version of software you own:

Upgrades; Prior Versions. If the Software is an upgrade, you may only use the Software if you have a valid license to use the prior version of the Software, and you may not use both the upgrade and the prior version of the Software concurrently. You may elect to use a prior version of any Software delivered and licensed under this Agreement in lieu of using the Software delivered and licensed under this Agreement ("Delivered Software"), provided (i) you have an authorized copy of the prior version of the Delivered Software; (ii) all use is pursuant to and in accordance with this Agreement; and (iii) notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, in no event will NI be required to support any version of the Software, including providing applicable software key codes or hardware keys, other than the then most current version of the Delivered Software.

Thank you - but I didn´t found the old software at the download-link (DIADEM Base / Diadem Advanced 20xx).

Hello Alex,

Please try this link, it worked in MS Internet Explorer:

I did a search in FireFox (version 40+) and didn't find the download, then I tried the same search in MS Internet Explorer (Win 7 with Internet Explorer 11) and was able to find the download. I can't explain why this is happening, and I am asking the NI Web team to look into the issue.

If you can't find the download using your current browser, please try using a different browser to see if you can find the download using that method ...

Hi,

the link Otmar posted seems to be DIAdem 2011 without the service pack. If you want to use DIAdem 2011 with service pack 1, use this link:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/diadem/release_11.3/diadem_2011_sp1_engl_dac.exe

I could not found the download page for DIAdem 2011 SP1, but it is possible to download the software with the direct link.
