Definition/description of the Rainflow analysis output?

Hello,

Can someone help us to fully identify what kind of data we get in the different channels when doing a Rainflow analysis in Diadem v10.0.

We want to get a simple 3D matrix with mean amplitude/alternating amplitude/cycle count. There is some messages in this forum telling us that we get a from-to list in two of the channels but we can not even find those channels.

We are not VBS programmers and would like a description without having to read any VBS scripts

Is there not any readable documentation on the Rainflow tool. We can handle a German version if that is available.

Hi Dan,

I spoke to you this Tuesday and forgot to get back to you, sorry about that. I spoke with a guy in Germany and he said that basically the only information about Rainflow in DIADEM is in the help.

To see what information the different channels are, search for Rainflow Result Parameterization. The tool is based on a standard. I forgot which one but I will get back to you when I found it.
