ATFX Import Error Exception (20)

Hello,

iam trying to import an ASAM ODS ATFX File with 2 binary Files in DIAdem, but i always get the following Error Message:

***************** New logfile section *******************
ToDriver.cpp(425): ATFX: ERROR: Exception: (20) in ModelLoad:Data type unknown at this method!

This happens when i try to import a file with DS_STRING "channels".

There are 2 binary files. The first one is completly fine. The second one usually contains the string data and is refered to as [ATFX-Filename]_string.btf.

Iam using DIAdem 2014 Versionnumber: 14.0.0f5641

I have some example Files attachted.

Hope somebody can help me.

Reading measurement quantities of type DT_STRING from an binary component (zero terminated) was not implemented till NI DIAdem 2015.

The current Release DIAdem 2015 is capable to read your file without errors.

If you are capable to get the Data inline instead of component it would read.

P.S.: The ATFX plugin is part of NI USI. If you are not capable to switch to DIAdem 2015 it would be sufficient to install an 2015 evaluation version on your machine.

Your solution was correct.

I downloaded an evaluation Version of DIAdem 2015. Thereby the DataPlugins of 2014 got updated. -> The Import now works with DIAdem 2014
