REPORT: Property-copy for graphs

Status: Completed
DIAdem 2010 already provides the ability to change properties for a list of objects. If this isn't what you expected, please let us know.

If you have several graphs and want to change e.g. the axis-scaling it has to be done for each graph separately. An automatic function would be nice.

Possible solution:

1. mark all graphs to be changed

2. double-click the axis

3. the next menu shows only the properties, which are in all marked graphs the same.

4. Changing one property will change it for all marked graphs.

Thank you for bringing up this idea. I understand that this would allow to change a single property for a selected set of elements of the layout.

Did you ever look at the new feature which comes with DIAdem 2010 which allows you to change whole sets of properties, e.g. the scaling ? If you select an axes and then select the very right icon in the toolbar, DIAdem brings up a list of axis which are different from the one you selected. You then can apply the scaling of the axes you selected to all the other axis. This is definitely not what you described, but I would be interested to learn how you would compare the value of the two features.
