Allowing to drag and drop channel in the pocket calculator

Hi,

I noticed channels can be dragged and drop everywhere but in the calculator. Ths channel list is quite OK when havin a few channel in the Data portal but becomes fast ´a waste of time on bigger projects. Allowing to drag channel in ot would make it faster to use and also a bit more user friendly.

Hi Naity,

This is absolutely something we want to do.  In the meantime, have you checked out the Calculation Manager as an alternative approach to doing interactive calculations?  You can drag&drop to the input and output fields in the configuration dialog of each Calculation in the Calculation Manager.  It also gives you an easy way to save and distribute Calculations and link Calculations together.

Ideally, we'd like the simple Channel Calculator to have many of the benefits of the more complicated Calculation Manager, including but not limited to dragging and dropping data channels.

Hi all,

A similar feature that would be useful is the ability to drag individual cells for single value calculations into the VIEW tab calculator. For example, instead of typing ChD(1,1)-ChD(1,2) to subtract two cell values, simple drag these cells into the calculator.
