XLR8 insert image issue with a graph on the sheet

Summary: Excel cannot open my XLS file

VI: Insert image (13.0 rev 16)

I try to insert an image on a sheet that has data in some cells and a graph on the same sheet.

In this case, it doesn't work properly. No error in LV but Excel cannot open the file "... (same sheet).xls".

If the graph is on an other sheet, it works properly "... (separated sheet).xls".

I expect to have the result like in file "... (expected result).xls".

So you have all files to compare their contents.

thanks for the report. I am able to reproduce the issue using the old excel file format. Using XLSX it works fine.

We'll look into it.

Dear Peter,

It still did not work.

In both format, Excel 2002 + XLSX converter cannot open open the file.

If I open the file in LibreOffice:

• XLS: the first chart is deleted (I have 3 charts and one picture on the sheet where I insert new pictures)
