ELM 327 for vehicle data

Has anybody used an ELM327 vehicle OBD-to-bluetooth device with DASYLab?  It should be simple, but just like the USB CAN, I'm missing something.

Does it come in on a comm port? If so, the RS232 module may be able to talk to it.

The information that I found on the web was pretty sketchy, so I can't tell for sure.

 

I'd be happy to work with you on this one-on-one... it's the kind of application where I would need to see it to help. Have your computer online with the ELM327 connected to the car, and the bluetooth connection completed. Then we can talk... PM me for contact information, or send a note via the www.dasylab.com support page. That will get to me, and I can call you.
