Convert DSB in old dasylab version

Is possible open o convert a DSB file build in DasyLab11 to a DasyLab 10?

Yes and no.

Load worksheet in DASYLab 11.

Choose File >>> Save As...

Change the filetype of the worksheet to ASC (see attached picture, "Schaltbild" == "worksheet").

Close DASYLab 11, open DASYLab 10, load the ASC worksheet.

The ASC worksheet has now two files: somename.ASC and somename.DMX.

Both files have to reside in the same directory. Otherwise DASYLab is not able to load the worksheet.

How to get a DASYLab 10 DSB worksheet again, is left as exercise. 😉

I tried save in ASC, but it send me the following message:

"ASCII worksheets cannot be loaded with this version."

I hope that it will create files anyway but it didn't happend.

Did you open the DMX file?

Also, could you attah the V11 file?  and let me know which version 10 do you have.

In any cases, many drivers and features changed ion 11 so it might be not so compatible.

Hi Tom, 

    I haven'nt could create DMX file, because the message indicate above appears inmediatly when I try to save as DSA. 

    I using  DasyLab 10.00.01 and 11.00.00 ( v11 is trial version)
