Build a trapezoid in DasyLab6 S

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello everybody,

I have the following issue. I want to build a trapezoid signal with ranges -2 to 2 Volt, 5Hz and slopes of 4 ms.

I even can't find where to build a trapezoid 😞 Help, please.....

Thanks in regard,

PHeine

Does DASYLab S have the Sequence Generator?

If not,  you have to create a Generator with a Triangle Waveform, and then use a Scaling Module with Limits to cut off the top.

I don't have DASYLab 6 anymore, so I can't make you an example that you can run.

I just tried the following...

Generator with Triangle Wave,  5 Hz, Amplitude of 50, connected to a Scaling module, with the scaling set to1x + 0, and the lower limit of -2, upper limit of 2.

Hi there. I think what you are trying to say is I only get a sloped rising edge.

I also want a sloped falling edge.

I have made a drawing and uploaded it into a fotobucket:

I hope this works. I've never done this.

Thanks anyway for helping me.

Did you use a Triangle wave? If you cut off the top, you will have both a sloped rising edge and falling edge.
