Hello,
I have a cDAQ 9174, which I believe has 4 counters on it, I need to generate a pulse train (0-5V) using the cDAQ and digital output module NI 9472. Is this possible? And how do I do it? The pulse train will then be sent to a relay switch.
Thanks

So, you are correct the cDAQ 9174 does have access to 4 general-purpose 32-bit counter/timers. The maximum voltage output for the NI 9402 only outputs up to a 3.4V signal.
Attached is some content about creating a pulse train and VI that I found from another discussion forum that will produce a pulse train.
If you are looking for a NI module that does output a 5V digital output there is the NI 9401 what is a 5 V/TTL , 100 ns high-speed I/O. If you would like to purchase a module and have specific questions you can email quotes@ni.com.
