Hello I am Labview beginner and do not have much idea of electrical engineering.

 

I want to connect a flowmeter to a NI 6001.

 
How do I have to perform the wiring?

Hello Siwawi,

 

flow meter

Pin 1 CTR input of the USB 6001 PFI 0 or PFI 1

Pin 2 GND external power supply

Pin 3 external power supply

 

Please connect the GND from the external power supply to the USB device and also to the sensor and to the earth ground.

 

You can also try to use the +5V from the USB device, because it deliver up to 150 mA and the sensor seems to need 25 mA, then no external supply is needed.

 

After this make a CTR count detection on this pins.
