schmitt trigger

I am currently trying to create a pld file that has a schmitt trigger, however in the pld logic database there is no schmitt trigger...is there a way I can use it?

Hello,

When you work on a PLD schematic you can only place components that can be mapped for VHDL export, that's why you cannot find a schmitt trigger. 

You could create the rest of you PLD design, create a subcircuit and then place the subcircuit in a 'regular' Multisim design; there you will have access to the schmitt trigger component. This is the general idea:
