multimeter impedence

Hi,

I am an hobbyist. I am trying to simulate an existing board circuit in multisim. The results that I see on the output side are as expected. But, I found something  interesting in this simulation.

I have connected 2 multimeters in this circuit. The multimeter xmm1 is connected to the input side of of the circuit. xmm2 is connectd to the output side of circuit (have attached attachment of the circuit with this message).

xmm1 is set to 1G Ohm input impedence and it will show a reading of about 70mv (if you run the simulation). On the output side, the xmm2 also shows 70mv but, for xmm2 to show that, I had to adjust it's input impedence to about 8.86 G Ohm. If I use the standard setting of 1G Ohm input impedence, the meter shows 8.4+ mv as output.

I am not sure why a 1G Ohm impedence meter is loading the circuit to the level where the output is reduced by almost by a factor of 10.

BTW - I am using Multisim V 13 in evaluation mode.

With Regards,

    Ravi
