Hi again.

I built this circuit but I keep getting the error message in the title.  I have gone through the older threads on it but can find nothing to help.  If I run the digital smaples they work fine.  If I run other digital circuits I made they work fine.  I have tried this circuit on another PC and get the same error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ray

Problem is a phantom net that doesn't exist.  Go to tools, update circuit components and click update.  That should fix it.

Followed the procedure I just told you, and it works fine.........again.  I've attached the fixed version, see if it works there now.

Thanks, it works fine on my MS.  I was planning on rebuilding the circuit to see if there was something I was doing wrong.

I may open the code and see what's different.

This is very strange.  I even did a "repair" on Multisim.

Thanks again.

Okay, I built the same circuit and got the same error.

One thing I noticed is that on your fixed circuit the 7408 gates are all on different chips.  I created the circuit using all the gates on one chip.

I am really confused.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that I am running this on W7 64bit?

I built the circuit again using different chips for each AND gate and it worked the first time.  I did use the same chip for the Inverter gates.

I don't get it.

same deal, error with the first shot, updated components as above, rerun, no issue.

One thing.  When  I go to tools - update....  The "update" button is not active.  I have to select one of the boxes above to get the "update" button to go active.  Any thoughts on that?
