Seeking DC LAtching Solenoid Model for MultiSim

Dear Sir/Madam

I am looking for a simulation model for a DC Latching Solenid for Multisim. Also is there a converter that can convert Vendor libaries like ONsemi which use *.sin to *.vdhl for multisim.

Your help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Multisim doesn't have any simulatable solenoid in the database but there are many types of voltage control switches available, you can try one of those components instead.  You can find them in the "electo_mechanical" group.  I am not sure what the *.sin model format is but Multisim can import SPICE models, importing VHDL is for customers who previously purchased Multi-VHDL and if you don't have this product, you can't import VDHL models into Multisim.
