SMD part below THT part ???

Hello,

How I can set SMD part (from BOTTOM pcb layer), under the integrated circuit U3 (from the TOP layer) - see the image below?
If I try to move SMD part,  but "THT part  run on pcb surface".
Is there a setting or method by which I could put on the bottom SMD part below U3, I would like to know, please!

Hi,

I'm not sure what the reason could be.

it should work normally...

-have got the 'part shoving' switched off? You can find this under the 'design' tab.

-have you set your net clearances small enaough (try 0.25 mm or 10 miils) so the copper pads are not too close.

Another tip:

From a production view, it is better to have all your parts on one side, SMT as well as  THT.

It just saves you a lot of money in series production...

I switched ON  "part shoving" and now it works. Thanks.
