All
I need to design a PCB to receive this add on card (http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en543132). I need to connect to the PIC Tail plus connector. This goes into the development board (http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en024858)provided by microchip at J3 (black header, part number MEC1-160-02-F-D-EM2 from samtec)
Another option is to design a PCB to connect at J9 (120 pin (dual row 2 x 60), .039 pitch, .062 thickness) of the above development board.
However there is no connectors available in Multisim to do this. How can I do it. I am pretty new to Multisim. One more note, we can't handle surface mount and hence looking for through hole.

Unfortunately I think you are stuck with the surface mount part.
Have you thought about using an assembly surface to populate your board? I'm pretty sure they'll do just a portion of it for you if the expense is an issue.

Hello
This is part of a design and manufacturing class I am doing at a county college. I am required to designed and manufacture a PCB and the college can't handle surface mount.
Are you suggesting to give it outside and get it done? That is not an option for reasone explained above.
Any suggestions
