New Instruments and Functionality Available for Download in Multisim 10.1.1

Hello All,

[Note**** PXI Instruments are no longer available]

We here at National Instruments are happy to announce some new instruments, and functionality, available for NI Multisim 10.1.

New Instruments

PXI Instruments for NI Multisim beta are now available at ni.com/labs. These instruments will allow you to visualize both simulated and real measurements in a single interface, from within Multisim. These instruments can be wired to a circuit, similar to other measurement instruments in Multisim, but with a flick of a switch can interface to NI hardware to acquire and correlate real prototype measurements.

The PXI Instruments for Multisim beta instruments, and have been made available for users to use, and provide feedback upon. Please note that these instruments do require Multisim 10.1.1,and PXI Instrument Drivers to function correctly.

New LabVIEW Functionality

In September 2008, we announced and launched the LabVIEW Multisim Connectivity Toolkit beta. In September 2009, we updated these instruments to include an ExpressVI to make using the toolkit even easier. Click here to download the latest toolkit build.

These intuitive instruments allow LabVIEW users to easily automate simulation from the LabVIEW environment. By acquiring simulation results within LabVIEW, a custom application can be defined to create a domain specific analysis, correlate simulated and real measurement information, as well as access Multisim simulation data through a web interface.

Thanks!
