Hello:

In my About MultiSim box the version given is stated as 11.0 (11.0.278) with build date of Dec. 17, 2009.  I'm confused about the meaning.  Am I recieving automatic updates, or should I be installing this 11.0.1 version?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron,

Open the NI Update Service (Programs>>National Instruments) and click on Check for Updates. If your contract is active you will see Circuit Design Suite 11.0.1 in the Critical Updates list. If your contract has expired you will be eligible to install version 11.0.0.2 (11.0.458), this is a free update.

All these numbers can be a little confusing. Version 11.x is the 'official' name (so to speak), and 11.x.xxx is the exact version number.

Let us know how it works.

hello. I was just wondering, i need help. 😞

so i made my circuit in the schematic and then transfered it to the ultiboard. And now, i want to print the layout of the pcb that i created and hopefully, make my one pcb. (like etch it my self, drench it in ferric chloride and the like.) Is there a way for me to print it? and transfer it later on to an acetate? I'm gonna use a photo sensitive pcb. help! it;s for my project. Sorry i posted this here. You see im new here. so i don't know how to post a new topic in the forum.

Hello,

NI Staffs, if you don't mind, what should I do if I want to activate my evaluation edition of Multisim 11.0

I've tried the code of my professor who bought the said product. But it didn't work.

So what I really want to say is, if could you give me a code that I can use to activate that.

Because I really need it, because I need to create circuit designs for our projects.

Thanks very much,

Dear Khristian,

To solve your question, you first have to know if the code you acquired from your prof is the Serial Number OR the Activation Code. If it's the serial number and the software has being installed on fewer than 3 computers, you should be able to retrieve an activation code for installation on http://ni.com/activate. Otherwise you need to create a Service Request on http://www.ni.com/support/ or call our customer service. We'll take care of your case as soon as we receive your request. Hope that helps,
