Multisim 10.1.357 crashed on some ms10 file.

Here are two ms10 files.
IR_38f-0.ms10
IR_38f-1.ms10

"IR_38f-1.ms10" crashes while "IR_38f-0.ms10" is ok.

I can open "IR_38f-1.ms10" by double-click this file,
but when I edit anything on it, it crashes.
it will crash by "open ..." menu instead of double-click.

but the file "IR_38f-0.ms10" is fine.

The only difference is that "IR_38f-0.ms10" has a U11A (a NOT gate)
on the right-bottom corner. I deleted this gate and save it as
"IR_38f-1.ms10", but the file seems damaged.

I have test it for several times, the result is always the same.
In fact, it seems that the new file will crash if I delete anything in file
"IR_38f-0.ms10" and "save as" it.

Wierd? It makes me crazy! Please help me!

Hi coocoo,

The crash is induced by problems related to component U1 - 27C64-12L. This has been fixed internally and should not manifest itself in future releases. For now, what you can do is replace component 27C64-12L with component 27C64-12P, which has the same parameters except for the footprint.

Let me know if you run into any more issues.

Hi, Max

Thank you very very much for your response and bring me the hope.

However, after I replace component 27C64-12L with component 27C64-12P,
 the thing seems not changed.

(1)See "IR_38f-0-maxNI1.ms10" and "IR_38f-0-maxNI2.ms10" in the attach file.

"IR_38f-0-maxNI1.ms10" is the same as "IR_38f-0.ms10", except that
its U1 is 27C64-12P. this file is ok.

After deleting U11A in the right bottom corner, and saving it as
"IR_38f-0-maxNI2.ms10" (like "IR_38f-1.ms10"), Multisim will crash
     while editing this file.

(2)the third file "uPCc.ms10" is another file make Multisim crash, though
    it doesn't contain "27C64".

    Please help me.

    Thank you once more!

Is it possible that we can get a patch for the bug on current release?
